Storm Clouds/Boscobel
An oil painting of one of the most beautiful views of the Hudson River. I was painting at Boscobel, which is a restoration in Garrison NY. Here you see West Point and can look south to see Bear Mountain Bridge. Artists are welcomed to paint on the grounds once a month when Boscobel is normally closed to the public. My acrylic study for this piece was covered with raindrops since I was holding an umbrella with one hand and painting with the other.
